Title: Effectiveness
Pairing: Spike/Dru
Rating: PG
Summary: Spike threatens Drusilla
Word Count: 100
Warnings/Spoilers: nothing particular
A/N: Written for the anniversary drabble/ficlet fest at [livejournal.com profile] spanking_world

“Dru, love, do be a dear and tell a fellow just what you’re doing?”

“Oh, Spikey, look at all the pretty colors, swaying in the breeze. Dancing in circles around the maypole.”

“Did you feed on the nice drug dealer? The one we were saving to make the special potion?”

“He tasted like starlight, with a hint of cherries.”

“And you didn’t leave a bloke a single drop. Do that again and I’ll spank you.”

“Promise?”

“That was a threat, love.”

“Not a very effective one.”

“How’s that?”

“It isn’t really a threat if I want you to do it.”

Title: Where We Go From Here
Pairing: Giles/Xander
Rating: PG
Summary: Giles is not happy with Xander
Word Count: 200
Warnings/Spoilers: Spoilers for Once More With Feeling
A/N: Set immediately after Once More With Feeling (aka the musical episode). Written for the anniversary drabble/ficlet fest at spanking_world.

“I’m disappointed, Xander,” Giles’ voice was as soft as his face was stern. “You knew from the beginning what we were facing, you had multiple opportunities to come forward with the information, yet you remained quiet. I don’t need to remind you that you put Dawn’s life in danger, as well as that of every resident of Sunnydale. Innocent people died.”

“Hey, I didn’t mean for any of that to happen. It was supposed to be a good thing. Some singing, some dancing, and everybody gets a happy ending. Besides, I knew if things went wrong we’d be able to fix it.”

“That isn’t the point. We have enough vampires and demons to fight without summoning any ourselves. You’ve been around long enough to know that. I’ve come to think of you as something of a son and I know my father would have dealt with this sort of behavior swiftly and severely,” Giles said, unbuckling his belt and pulling a chair away from the research table.

“Giles, you wouldn’t.”

“You may think you’re all grown up, Xander, but you are not too old to go across my knee. You should count yourself lucky I don’t have a cane handy.”
