“Aww, come on. He’s been hanging around the boathouse for days. He’s lonely.”

Prompt: Torchwood, Ianto/Owen, Mondays never did get any easier to deal with.
Mondays never did get any easier to deal with. If anything, they got more difficult. Which was rather odd, since arcane concepts like weekends and regular time-off weren’t really a part of working at Torchwood. Alien threats came in all shapes and sizes and, they realized once Jack was gone, at all hours. Day or night, weekday or weekend, business day or holiday, it made no difference.
It was a Monday, Ianto knew that much. He remembered useless details like that, filed away facts and figures with no real purpose. The important things, however, were harder to remember. Like what had happened to the artifact retrieved on Sunday? What was the strange goo it had coated him in upon exploding? Where were his clothes? And why was he locked in a cell with an equally naked Owen?
Mondays never did get any easier to deal with. But then again neither did any other day of the week.
