A kiss pressed to waiting lips 
Human and machine combined
Familiar and alien, loved but feared
Past and present, a battle well fought
There is no way forward with her by his side
There is only one word for what she is now 

Monster 

There is only one word for who he is now
There is no way back to undo what was done
Present and future, a difficult path
Lover and mentor, trusting yet wronged
Hero and demon both
Lies and threats, the click of a gun
