Two Drabbles

Two more for the Book Titles challenge at tw100

Title:
Love You, Hate You, Miss You
Author:  czarina_kitty
Characters: Ianto, Jack
Challenge: tw100 challenge #179—Book Titles
Rating:  PG

Notes: I do not own, or make any money from the use of, these characters.

You said you couldn’t die, but you were wrong.  All I can do is sit here, in your office, wrapped in your coat, and wish you were here so that I could tell you how I feel.

You woke up from death today.  I was the happiest I have ever been.  Then you went away again, this time by choice, leaving me behind.  I can’t express how much that hurts.

You came back today.  I don’t know where you have been or what has happened to you, but your spark is gone.  I miss the Jack I used to know.

Title: Lips Touch:  Three Times
Author:  czarina_kitty
Characters: Jack/Ianto
Challenge: tw100 challenge #179—Book Titles
Rating:  PG
Notes: I do not own, or make any money from the use of, these characters.

Lips touch, tentative and seeking.
Pulling back from the darkness and towards the light; breathing life into the cold and warmth into the soul.
Another chance to make things right, another chance to move forward.
One heart resumes its beat, another eases.

Lips touch, passionate and claiming.
In the open, for all the world to see.
Awakening the senses and re-kindling lost hope; making a promise and sealing a vow.
One heart begins to mend, another finds its rhythm.

Lips touch, desperate and broken.
Searching for a spark, but finding none.
Too little, too late.
One heart ceases, another breaks.

I like these two work individually but even better as a pair. There really are different kinds of death.

I really enjoyed these. Especially the second one; you write them so that I know exactly which moments you're referencing. :)

Thank you.

Thank you. I was a little concerned about not specifying when these took place, so I'm glad you were able to figure that out.

Break my heart, why don't you?

They are both lovely.

These are both so beautiful and moving. That last one had me crying.

Two very sad little drabbles.

I like the way Ianto notices the change in Jack when he returns fron the Year That Never Was.

The second is my favourite though, it's so poetic, three kisses that in a way chart their relatiionship from beginning to end.

Thank you. I think I like the second one better as well; it was certainly more difficult to write.
